Welcome to our Dara. By using our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not use our website.
Eligibility and Usage
The DARA app is intended for individuals in the United States. The service is available exclusively to individuals in the Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City, Nevada areas. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- If you are a veteran, DARA will monitor the authorized amount of service hours covered by the Department of Veteran Affairs. You will not be charged out-of-pocket unless you exceed the authorized amount of service hours.
- To determine eligibility for free services, veterans must follow the enrollment process for VA Health Care Benefits and meet the clinical eligibility requirements for homemaker or home health aide services.
- All caregivers on DARA must meet certain requirements, which include being legally authorized to work in the United States, passing a background check, possessing the necessary certifications and credentials as per their state regulations, being at least 18 years old, and having obtained at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Personal Use: The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to use the App for any unauthorized or unlawful purposes.
- Account Creation: In order to use certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Availability: While we endeavor to ensure that the App is available 24 hours a day, this is not guaranteed. We do not warrant that the functions contained in the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the App or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs. We may make changes to the materials and information provided in the App at any time without notice.
- Prohibited Conduct: Prohibited conduct on the app includes the following: unlawful or unauthorized use, impersonation or misrepresentation, violation of laws, regulations, or third-party rights, disruption of app operation, engagement in harmful activities to the app or its users, and unauthorized collection of personal data. These activities must not be engaged in on the app.
User and Company Content
The content and materials available on the App are owned by DARA. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the material is prohibited without our prior written consent.
Unless otherwise stated, the materials on the App are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not download, alter, or adapt the materials for any purpose without our prior written permission.
Refer to our Privacy Policy for information on collecting, using, and disclosing personal information.
The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. The company does not endorse or control them and is not responsible for their content or practices.
Payment Process
Currently, patients are required to pay for services out-of-pocket or have services covered by the H/ HHA program through the Department of Veteran Affairs. Prior to the commencement of services, DARA will prompt users to input their payment information. If a third party intends to cover the payment, their payment information should be provided. Users will be billed for services after the appointment has concluded and both the patient and caregiver have confirmed the rendered services.
DARA collaborates with licensed personal care agencies to provide services. Currently, our exclusive partnership is with Heroes Caregiving. Please note that Heroes Caregiving does not accept Medicaid or Medicare due to the competitive rate at which caregivers are paid to ensure quality care.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The DARA app serves as a platform for connecting patients with Caregivers. We do not employ or control the Caregivers directly. We make no representations or warranties regarding the quality, suitability, or reliability of the Caregivers.
While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the App. Any reliance on the information provided is at your own risk.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM APP USE.
Applications Of These Terms
These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising here shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United States.
The company may modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the app after changes implies your acceptance of the modified terms.
