DARA believes that in-home care services should be easily accessible and efficiently delivered. We bridge the gap between patients and professional caregivers via our mobile application, so that patients, families, and care coordinators can simply access care in their area in real time. We believe in a world where in-home care agencies can work in the digital world to make their physical world simpler and more expansive. And we also believe in a world where professionals should have the ability to earn more, when they want, from the power of our technology.
Who We Are
A trio of visionaries creating impact through digitization
Heroes Caregiving was a personal care agency founded in 2017 by Aubrey Dirkes, Sean Pascoe, and Christopher Pascoe. So, it was simultaneously a veteran, female, and Hispanic-founded company. Contracted with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs the same year, we quickly learned that patients and caregivers are overwhelmed, underserved, and unsatisfied. By 2022, the industry saw a 64 percent turnover rate in professional caregivers during a time of skyrocketing demand, which is expected to increase by 5.1 percent annually. Consequently, the industry saw a 76 percent patient turnover rate likely due to patient dissatisfaction. This correlation had us burning with the will to do more.

Aubrey Dirkes
Co-Founder
Aubrey has a diverse background and has held leadership roles in the professional entertainment industry, as well as in health and fitness. She is Co-Founder of DARA Technology, and has been in the personal care industry, contracted with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, since 2017.
Christopher Pascoe
Co-Founder
Chris is a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard and Co-Founder of DARA Technology. He has held significant leadership roles in law enforcement, and has been in the personal care industry, contracted with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, since 2017.
Sean Pascoe

Hector Mancillas
Patient Relations
Hector has served in the personal care industry since 2019, and has proudly served his community with extensive leadership in law enforcement in Southern Nevada. We are proud to have him as part of the founding managerial team of DARA Technology.

Taunja has provided exceptional managerial leadership in the personal care industry since 2020, and has also served her community in law enforcement support in Southern Nevada. We are excited to have her as part of the founding managerial team of DARA Technology.
